Location
Midrand is fast becoming the dynamic commercial centre of Gauteng whilst retaining a refreshingly tranquil highveld atmosphere. The largest and fastest growth area within Gauteng is that of Samrand. This hotel is located on the Johannesburg/Pretoria highway off the Samrand turnoff, behind Shell Ultra City.
In the heart of this increasingly popular area, 20 minutes from Johannesburg International Airport, 15 minutes from Pretoria, only seconds away from numerous company headquarters.
Rooms
All 112 rooms are individually air-conditioned, have bathrooms en-suite with shower, 7-channel TV, touchdial telephone, work desk, 2 double or 1 queensize bed and tea/coffee making facilities. Some rooms have sleeper couches. Same day laundry service is available.
All rooms are equipped with modem-friendly computer plugs for laptops and 20 rooms are non-smoking. There are 2 rooms for disabled GUESTS, with ramps from the parking bay into the room - no steps.
Facilities
A full continental breakfast with limited hot dishes (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and baked beans with toast) and an English breakfast is served in the breakfast room from 06h30 to 10h00. Our restaurant now also serves dinner, from 18h30 t0 21h30.
The Residents' bar is open daily from 16h30 to 22h00, including Saturdays, while a cozy lounge facility off the reception area offers comfortable seating and a fireplace.
Every bedroom has its own allocated parking bay right outside the door. There is a ramp into reception, which is on the same level as the restaurant. There are steps from the restaurant to the bar, but drinks will be served in the restaurant for the disabled who are unable to get into the bar.
Sporting Facilities:
The hotel's swimming pool and sundeck is situated in the park-like surrounds near the restaurant.
Conference Facilities:
We now have conference facilities for 24 to 40 delegates in various seating styles, as well as a Business Centre, with 24 hours' internet access.
